The solo trip to Perth on 17 June 2014 was decided in less than two weeks before the trip. I have always loved travelling but because I was going to start work in July, I was feeling uneasy about travelling instead of preparing for work. However, I found that I have just about a week free and after hearing about Perth from my friends, I have decided that I should travel while I can and I am so glad I did.
It was a splendid experience as I got to fully experience the trip alone while interacting with strangers from around the world. It had indeed widen my horizons and deepen my understanding of the place and its people. I got to do what I wanted to and what I liked without giving in to any travel companions (which was often the case when you travel with others). I got to spend as much time as I wanted in the museum, I got to walk as much as I wanted (I am an avid walker) and I got to shop as little as I wanted.
I am really looking forward to another solo trip.
